Robert Faas and Arthur Versluis continue their discussion of the inner meaning of baptism according to the mystical tradition, including baptism and the eucharist as spiritual purification and nourishment.  They discuss the difference between confessional and alchemical Christianity, and begin an overview of all the many dimensions and aspects of the alchemical process of purification and illumination discussed in earlier conversations.
